With this app, you can test your typing speed.

It will allows you to enter some text for a test, and then to take the typing test. It will update the typing statistics (WPM, total mistakes, etc.) live while the test is being undergone, and even once the test is complete.

What is WPM?
Words per minute, commonly abbreviated WPM, is a measure of words processed in a minute, often used as a measurement of typing speed or reading speed.

For the purpose of typing measurement, each word is standardized to be five characters or keystrokes long in English, including spaces and punctuation. For example, the phrase "I run" counts as one word, but "rhinoceros" and "lets talk" both count as two.


If you want to know the Characters per minute (CPMn), a measure of characters processed in a minute, is normally WPM times five for English, so that 20 WPM are 100 CPM.
