Prepare your child for school using trusted educational content. School Zone Publishing Company has been creating childrens educational products for over 30 years.

Learning about time, money, and fractions can be challenging for many children. School Zones On-Track Time, Money & Fractions iPad app is the perfect tool to help children build those skills! The program’s kid-friendly approach delivers solid practice that will build confidence and help children succeed in school. Exercises are presented with detailed instructions and clear examples. The section concentrating on time lets children manipulate the hands of a clock to learn about hours and minutes, while other exercises teach children to set clocks to specific times. The section dedicated to money lets children maneuver coins into a bank, which teaches coin values and how to count coins. In the exercises focused on fractions, children learn fraction values and how to divide and color pie pieces to show fractions. Performance is encouraged by audio guidance, instant grading, progress-tracking, and ample positive reinforcement. In addition, each skill section has a no-stress learning area where children can explore each concept without being graded. Colorful graphics, silly sound effects, and funny animations enhance the learning experience. Plus, engaging games offer an important break between exercises. When additional practice is needed, a click of the reset button will randomize the problems for extended learning opportunities.

i think this is fun, easy and confidence boosting for little peeps!…..:0) love it

THE MATH IN THE PROGRAM IS WRONG

Marks answers as incorrect even when my kids inputs the correct answer. This defeats the purpose of letting my kids use this app.

This is not working…...//////

Dont waste your time whit thia app because is not working for my Kids eather. What a waste!!!!!!

Just OK

The game does what it says, but for $4.99, it should be in HD (the game is blurry on the large iMac). Plus, it is impossible to turn off while you are playing! This feels very much like homework for my son, so after about 10 minutes he was ready to move on. Other games are more engaging.

Great for Early Learners

This has been a fun app to introduce some topics like using coins to add, time, and other early elementary school math. That it is accomplished through a game seems to make my kids really want to engage these subjects.

Teacher LOVES this

I am a teacher. I got this to help my own two kids (grades pre-K and 1 at the time I bought it) brush up on their skills. I am writing this review because I was shocked to see that three people gave it a one star and nobody gave it a five star! Nobody is paying me to write this. All I can say is I LOVE IT< I LOVE IT< I LOVE IT! I think Ive owned it for about a year, maybe a little more. As a teacher Im always trying to fnd fun ways to help my kids keep up with their skills, and in my opinion, this program is possibly the best balance between fun and hard core learning Ive seen for these particular skills. My kids have actually asked me if they could work on time, money and fractions on their own time. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 10 for use as a tool for review and an 8 or 9 for use as a tool for teaching a skill for the first time. In fact I liked it so much that I came back to see if they had any programs for third grade math. I was so happy to see that they did. I am going to download that one right now. (My oldest will be in third grade next year! Its time to start getting ready!) Jenna.

School Zone On-Track

These apps really do make learning fun. The recess games are timed well and the mini cartoons in between sheets are a good teaser reward. My only complaint would be that some of the games are available only on iPad and are not yet available on the iMac.
