Turn your iPhone or iPad into a personal interpreter for 33 languages. The "Travel Interpreter" is a talking, illustrated phrasebook which translates words and phrases into 33 languages. The app offers you the unique opportunity to communicate abroad without any special language skills, as it can simply speak the translation as required. Easily understandable illustrations make communication even easier. You can use the "Travel Interpreter" to order plane tickets, book hotel rooms, take a car to be repaired or order a meal in a restaurant without any language skills at all. More than 2,200 phrases and words are included for each language, all of which are clearly categorised according to the respective topic, such as customs, hotel, service, driving, car services, sightseeing, entertainment, eating and drinking, sport and leisure. The integrated search function makes it even easier to find what you need. If, for example, you want to book a single room in a hotel, simply key in "single" and the phrase "I would like to book a single room" already appears on the screen. • More than 2,200 illustrated phrases and words with audio tracks are included per language. • 33 target languages: German, French, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Italian, Portuguese (Portugal), Portuguese (Brazil), Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Russian, Bulgarian, Greek, Hungarian, Romanian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, Hindi, Vietnamese, Farsi, Catalan, Romanian, Croatian and Ukrainian. • Available source languages for words, phrases and the app interface: Arabic, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Hebrew, Polish, English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish. Extremely good.

This app has pretty much everything you need to say while you are traveling. It is also very useful if you enjoy learning new languages too. The only negative aspect I would point is that some audios are too fast. It is hard to understand and repeat them. The app could have a control to change the speed of the audio.

The best phrases app I found. (I tried ten or so) - many languages - each language has plenty categories with many very useful phrases - good audio quality - native speakers - nice and helpful illustration - good functionality - very cheap- less than 10€ for all(!) languages in a bargain pack -> very good deal - I am happy - thanks a lot! :-)

Larousse en voyage pour moins de 4$ est beaucoup mieux. Extrême frustration pour 10$ vraiment pauvre et limité. La recherche est risible. Les illustrations sont à faire pleurer. Vraiment cest une honte à ce prix.

Very useful application with 33 languages to the price of 1!

To such a low price you get a phrase book in 33 different languages! All included in the first price paid. And no in-app prices asked later. The application is very easy to use. It has several words, phrases and sentences in different categories and their translations, which you can hear from native speakers voices. In order to check the quality of the translations and the speakers pronunciations, I listened to the lesson in Turkish, which is my native language, and I can say that it is good enough. There are only very few misleading or confusing translations, and the accent of the speaker represents only one region, which is different from mine and which is not totally "natural", but as I said, I think it is good enough. Thanks a lot for providing such a nice application to such a suitable price. I love learning languages and observing similarities and differences in them and this application gives me the chance not only to improve my Spanish and Slovak but also compare 33 different languages!
