99% of the poor people that made use of this product have already lost their money using it!!!!!
They charged me to e-file and did not file.
Stay away from this app, SERIOUSLY! I went through the entire process of using this product to file my Tax. At the end I was informed that my iTunes account was being charged so I could e-file. I was charged by Apple, the App told me they successfully e-filed, but it never happened. I’m finally realizing my direct deposite never went through. Now I owe the IRS late penalties. I’ve requested a refund from Apple, what a disaster!!!!!!
App is nice, lobbying against easier tax filing is disgusting
Doing your taxes is complicated and this app has worked pretty well for me. But Intuit has spent millions of dollars opposing legislation that would simplify tax preparation (cf. Farhad Manjoo, “Would You Let ths I.R.S. Prepare Your Taxes?”, NY Times, 15 April 2015; and others). And naturally they get what they want — their concentrated millions are more powerful than the distributed frustration of millions of taxpayers. Tax preparation becomes a system that turns your time into their money. So every year you have the freedom to choose between the hard lonely tax-prep path, or that soft Intuitive embrace. God bless America!
I had a better time with TT than with HR Block
Last year I used HR Blocks program. It did not go so well as I have to file for two states. It messed up my home state to the tune of $4k. I am still working on getting that resolved. I had no issues this year with Turbo Tax, great job.
Made filing my son’s returns easy
The APP was simple to use and quite thorough for a straightforward situation like our 17 year old son’s Federal and State taxes. The electronic filing function was particularly easy to use. Can’t say if I would use Turbo Tax on more complex situations, but for wages, dividends and capital gains/losses it was more than adequate. Interface with financial companies such as Merrill and Fidelity makes direct download of data a breeze. If you have all of the information, total filing time should be no more than 45 minutes to one hour if you are not rushing.
Very Helpful and Efficient
As an extremely busy professional constantly working long hours under tight deadlines, it was extremely reassuring for me to be able to use Turbo Tax and complete the eFile process in under 2 hours. Thank you Intuit for making this year’s tax preparation process easy and efficient.

I have been using Turbo for years. This was the worst year for customer service. The software would not let me e-file without puchasing the same software for the second time. This is the last year I will be using Turbo
