Some Improvements Could Be Made but VERY good
I have been using another Tumblr Download app for a while, it’s one that is all together, but you can’t change settings on what KIND of file you want to download, in this app I can dowload video from a Tumblr blog but not just that, the program really does register what downloads have already been made as to not repeat the same ones which is something that the other Tumblr downloader doesn’t do. I do have to say that there are some problems though, I wish there were easier buttons to control (or at least more clearly labeled ones) about whether I have any interest in the video and whether I can prioritize or delete BEFORE the downloading stage. Another is the regulated use of bandwidth, I’m not sure if it’s just me, but this program can download about 3GB worth of fan files (and interviews/promo clips/etc) in the span of about forty minutes. If I’ve chosen a bigger blog I have the option of pressing stop and play/resume, but I don’t have the settings (or haven’t found them yet) of limiting the amount of footage that I want to get. Of course it has stars for things which can’t be downloaded and this is more of the videos that shouldn’t be ethically downloaded which makes me happy, but it’s still a lot at one time. If you have plenty of space on your computer or want videos from a small blog and don’t really have anyone else using your internet bandwidth, then by all means go crazy because you’ll love what you come up with. If you want to conserve more, then still get it but use it with a strict hand so you’re not downloading every single thing. I really do think this app was worth my money and I love the picture of Darren, managed to know just what I was looking for with that one.
$5 Garbage
Claims that if your execute the terminal command you’ll be able to download the videos from the app, but you cannot. Don’t waste your money.
It works but...
It works but if often downloads duplicates. I wish there was a way to remove blogs for the download list.
