Description

View Source is an app plus an iOS 8 Safari extension that makes it easy to do one key web developer task: view the HTML, JavaScript and CSS source of any web page, with beautiful and customisable syntax highlighting. As an app, you can enter a URL and immediately see the source code behind it. As an extension, its even easier: just browse the web in Safari as you normally would, and if you want to view the source for your current page just tap the Action icon and choose View Source. You can then either copy the text to your pasteboard for use in other apps, or send it as an email. To enable the Safari extension on iOS 8, launch Safari, tap the action button on the toolbar, scroll right to the end, then tap More. Make sure View Source is enabled, then position it wherever you want it in the list of Safari actions, and tap Done. This app is optimised for all iOS 8-compatible devices, including the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Good app, but crash when browsing the html source too quickly or maybe a long page, the search can be added into the top bar, and the search also crashed..

Il serait agréable davoir accès au menu de partage dans les assets et aussi un moyen de sélectionner certains dentre eux et de faire une liste dURL á partir de là. Malheureusement laffichage dun fichier svg provoque un crash de lapplication. It would be nice to have aces to the share sheet from assets and also a way to check some assets and make a list of url out of that. Also, displaying a svg file cause the app to crash.

Had the same app idea - you were faster ;-) For the next version please add: - size to fit for source code (width) - search the source code for expressions - clickable links - pinch to zoom

A Missing Tool

Hatte zuvor immer "Snoopy" benutzt, den kostenlosen JS Code, den man als Bookmark ablegen kann. "view Source" fügt sich sauberer als Extension in Safari ein, und man hat gegenüber Snoopy bessere Weiterverarbeitungsmöglichkeiten. Mir gefällt es, und für 0.89€ auch sehr fair.
