Awesome app BUT
A bit pricey and doesnt really have much. The layout of the app is a bit weird and has basically the same exercises for every genre which is a rip off. The exercises it includes are good but could be better. Spare yourself the $20 and just buy the individual genre instead because they all have the same material. Or buy VocalEase ($8) which has great and long exercises but doesnt include body stretches and isnt gender specific which is why I bought this one as well. They are very compatible. They have what the other one doesnt.
The Real Deal
This is a serious tool by the best in the biz. I am so thankfull to have access to Lizs info right before I need my voice to be at its best. I have already used the app b4 a gig to warm up and am about to use it for a recording session. Its worth the price for the facial stretch exercize alone. Rock On
Faulty design
Users who only have iPod touch should beware. I had no idea the app needed connection to the Internet to work. I just spent twenty dollars on something that only works in a wifi available area.
Music industry professional
This app is the most comprehensive program for warming up your voice prior to auditions, rehearsals, performances and recordings. I have seen it in action and am extremely impressed. The design of both the look and content of this app are top notch.
Such a bargain
I was saving my pennies for pricey coaching so that I could better sustain my voice, but I got this first. And wow! How cool. The warmups are great, I feel Like I have a much better sense of whats happening when I sing, and now i am killing karaoke every week! Totally worth it.
I love this app!! A steal!
For $4.99 this is an absolute bargain! Great for the on the go lifestyle of a working performer. The voice guided warm ups can be done anywhere, internet connection not required. The full body and facial warm up videos are great quality! Even I, a sight challenged individual found the exercises on camera easy to follow along with. In each vocal genre, Liz takes time to sculpt the sound of each style of singing in the healthiest way possible. The warm ups really get your voice moving quickly! The vocal work out, I recommend you do when you have time to devout about 20 minutes to them, because these warm ups arent as easy as the quick warm ups. for those who cant regularly keep up with their voice lessons, this section will help one continue to challenge their vocal technique. Allows busy singers to work on their weaknesses while perusing their carers. Its a God send that she includes a section for singing with congestion! I found it very beneficial , seeing that it is an issue ailing all singers. I love the advice in the info section of the app for physical and mental well being, which covers what to wear, what to eat, and how to get peace of mind before singing. I would recommend this app for anyone who wants to take their singing career for the next level, whether beginner or pro.
