I love VN. They make me extremely productive and are great for idea creation and generally having information which you can’t fully absorb in a given moment. This Voice Note app is great! I wish you to make the app size a bit smaller, however the functionality is great.

Testing out the free version fully before comitting to the pro version. Great for recording like lectures etc.

I use it for recording lectures and is very useful and good with sound.

Doesn’t pick up sound very well. (It’s not my laptop…it’s brand new and a previous app did the job well done.) Doesn’t let you save it or send to yourself unless you purchase PRO. Not really worth it. Sorry. :(

I am able to record and is working well. I also like that it has a big date on the list of recordings, like a journal. I can make written notes and that is fabulous. However, if I leave the application open, it gets sort of blocked - I can’t close the application as the red button on the top left gets dis-activated and I can only use the minimizing button or the Full Screen button activated. When that happens, I can’t use the program anymore and I need to Restart my computer!!! That is terrible because I often have to shut down by forcing the power button as it gets completely blocked! Also, when I change names to the files, the files disappear from the list of recordings I made. I can’t access them anymore! And the name of the files that I use in the app is not the name of the files I see in the list of the actual files. So, if I go to the actual file to share (i.e. interviews for research) I have to re-name all of the files again because the name that shows up in the actual file is just “Recording” but that tells me nothing about the name I gave to the file initially! The files are saved in a very long list of recordings, each in a separate folder with other files in it that I don’t know what they are for. I wish it didn’t create and load so many unnecessary files into my computer :-( I REALLY HOPE THESE CHANGES CAN BE MADE SOON AS THE ISSUES SPOIL THE POTENTIAL OF THE WHOLE APP.
