The breaking news notification "Wave 3 News jingle" is annoying at best. I was hoping it was just an addition for Derby but it seems that it wasnt. Please roll back this "improvement" and revert back to letting ME CHOOSE what sound my phone makes for news notifications.
Traffic kills the app
Every time I try & access the traffic portion of the app it closes automatically! Done this ever since I downloaded it. Crappy app.
Better coverage than everyone else
Ive switched online news apps. The other station I was reading updates slowly and doesnt seem to report news only crimes & accidents. WAVE seems to cover everything.
Alerts
Love Wave3 but please dont send alerts at 3:30am unless its a life threatening emergency.
WAVE 3 app on 6s iPhone
I actually like the app very much it seems accurate and up to date I use it at least every day. One problem I see Im having is when I tap on the app it takes 15 seconds to load and I think that seems kinda slow compared to some other apps.
Great news source
This is the first app I open every morning to catch the latest happenings in our city. I really appreciate being able to immediately share stories with my social media outlets. I would like to see it updated over the weekend, however.
I Like It!
Love the notifications sent . Keeps me on top of whats going on. Also have weather app and it also keeps me up-to-date on weather conditions.
