Endlich mal wirklich kostenlos
Endlich!!
Endlich eine App für Winmail.dat dateien die auch das tut was sie soll und nicht nur Geld aus der Tasche ziehen will.
Great for the price
I imagine some of the WinMail.dat viewers either integrate with Finder or Apple Mail, let you quick-view the contents, or whatever. I might try them at some point. But this one is easy enough and its free. Since we’ll only be using it a few times a week, it’s perfect. Here’s a tip: run the viewer, then right-click the dock icon and select Options -> Keep in Dock. Now you simply drag winmail.dat files from your emails onto the viewer in the dock, even if the viewer isn’t running yet.
Simple & Easy
Unlike many of the winmail apps this one does not try to make you buy a pro version to extract attachments. It extracted the contets and provided an HTML file to view the email itself. Simple and easy!
Somewhat Easy to Use and actually works (and it’s free)
First time I used it it worked just fine. I would like to be ablel to just view the attachment without having to drag and drop the file to the application but I might not have it set up right. Right now, it appears you have to open the app and then drag the file to the window and tell it where you want to open the file(s). It would be nice to be able to just right click on the file while in Apple Mail and do a quick view and see what is in the file but I have not figured out how to do that yet (which is the reason I went looking for an App to begin with.) But at least now I can drag the file to the App and at least figure out what was in there to begin with - which is something I’ve been struggling with for awile now. Thanks for creating a pretty easy to use functional App.
