This program takes a slightly different approach to mindfulness practice by using self-hypnosis and focusing on what current psychology research shows are the experiences in life that really make us happy. Like meditation, hypnosis is a state of relaxation coupled with attentional focus, but instead of merely being receptive as in meditation, in hypnosis we get work done. We create, solve problems and form new neural connections by paying attention to various things in our world and how they affect us. We get more control over our minds and bodies.
Youll learn a quick and easy self-hypnosis technique that youll use daily to reduce stress and increase your physical health and clarity of thought. Each day youll have a different affirmation on which to focus and a coordinating journaling exercise. After 21 days deep relaxation will be a normal part of your daily life. The pace of your life will slow down, youll work smarter, not harder, and youll get more enjoyment out of each day. The daily exercises will take you beyond these habits and into self-contemplation. Youll learn more about yourself and what changes you might want to make in your life, giving you self-improvement tools that go far, far beyond just 21 days.
