Players can make or change their selections at any point up until this time. ● Each player must select 6 teams who they think will win as well as one game for which they predict a draw. Of the 6 “wins” they also select one game to act as their “banker” - this is typically the game result for which they are most confident. ● Selections are auto-saved once a player has made all 7 selections (8 checkboxes if you include the banker). It is not possible to enter the game, or save selections if the prerequisite number of selections has not been made. ● Prior to the lock time, players are at liberty to change their selections by de-selecting one or more of their selections and then re-selecting other results. However, previous selections will only be overriden once the prerequisite number of selections has been reached. For instance, if a player, having made a set of selections, then de-selects 3 of their selections and selects only 2 other results, their original selections still stand. ● Results and selections are then processed in the early hours of Monday morning. ● Players score points depending on the outcome of their predictions. Players can view their results on a Monday morning, as well seeing how they performed relative to other players - both weekly and in a players’ league table. ● Players can also play as part of a team of between 5 and 7 players - a player can only be a member of one team at a time and may start their own team and invite players to join that. ● Teams score points on a weekly basis - the top 5 scoring players counting to each team’s cumulative scores. ● After 2.45pm on a Saturday (UK time), players who are members of a team are able to view their team-mates’ selections. ● Individual player and team prizes are awarded on a weekly basis, and there is also an end-of-season prize for the top-scoring player and team over the whole season.
