Important Note:You cannot simulate your own programs with this application. 8086 simulator is a simple iPhone application where you can study about 8086 Instructions and program execution. You will be able to simulate assembly language programs. Also you can execute the program step by step and see how the values of all registers and flags are changing with the execution of each instruction. All instructions used in the 8086 microprocessor and a sample program for each instruction is included in this app. Features: Includes all instructions of 8086 processor. A sample program for each instruction included for simulation. Description of each instruction is included. Shows the values of all registers and flags. Highlights the changed registers and flags after each instruction execution. Allows step by step execution of instructions. Can reset the simulation of currently executing program. Shows the last executed and next executing instructions.

This was exactly what I was looking for (except for the part about not being able to step through your own custom code fragments). It is very easy to understand and straightforward. Thanks. One suggestion would be to be able to execute your own code fragments that you create in the "codes" section. Then I would give it 5+ stars!

Rip off

This is a rip off. Pre written examples only things you can simulate. Cant execute the customized programs or write a program from scratch to execute. Why dont u be more clear about how program functions. Refund is not necessary but dont make a stupid app like this and sell it. Sent from my iPhone
