Topkapi Palace, located in Istanbul, Turkey, was the crown jewel of the Ottoman Empire. The palace was built during the reign of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror between 1460 and 1478, and was of utmost importance, from both an administrative and an executive standpoint, in the Ottoman Empire. It was considered to be the heart of the Empire. Acoustiguide Smartour – Topkapi provides a highlights tour through some of the famous spots in Topkapi.
