If we have very low numbers of elderly Canberrans walking in another area, we should further investigate why. Perhaps the paths are unsuitable, or there are poor path connections to local services. The more we know, the more we can improve. The data may show us that Canberrans need to take lengthy detours in some areas by foot or bike if there is a lack of good path connections. The ACT Government can investigate these and determine if improved connections are needed and whether they can be provided.
