Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Certification Q&A Review at Mac App Store analyse

Confusing at times when it tells me my answer is wrong but rationale states otherwise. Dont think its worth $30.

Questions have rationales with up to date questions. You can make your own quiz using the questions. Highly recommended.

Some questions were wrong and their own review contradicted the answer. I cant tell what topics Ive completed because they dont show as bold or highlighted once completed. I never know my score unless I do a quiz. Otherwise good information.

Pros: -the only app of its kind so far for the AGPCNP exam, so cant really go wrong in buying this now -comprehensive questions and rationale -conveniently take quizzes on the go, on your phone or ipad -great for those with short attention spans who are constantly staring at a handheld screen Room for improvement: -more questions please! -I wish it had as many questions and had an interface as pretty as the NCLEX Mastery app -interface could be prettier -a few typos here and there -would help to have common lab values, study tips, exam format, etc. listed somewhere -would help to specify which guidelines from what year to study and what year guidelines the questions are based on

This app more than surprised me! This was the only app that I could find that specifically reviews the Adult Gerontology Primary Care certification exam. It includes 300+ questions with rationales. The questions review all of the major body systems plus Professional Practice, Education, and Ethics. You have the option to choose the categories you want to review OR you can create your timed quiz. Definitely recommend!

If you already own the Leik book, do not buy this app. The questions are exactly the ones in the book. The questions are also a fairly simple level and not challenging at all.

Frequently the app will tell me I answered the question wrong, but then in the rationale its clear that my answer was right- they just have the wrong choice indicated as correct. Its also outdated and references jnc 7 frequently. I regret this purchase.
