Description

Come on a journey around the world this Advent with Caritas Australia. Throughout Advent, you will build your own wreath by selecting individual elements (evergreens, holly, pine cones, apples, laurel, nuts and seedpods) that will be added to your wreath each day. On Sundays, you will light the appropriate candle(s) and on Christmas Day the final white candle will be lit. The recommended audience for this app is secondary students/adults. Due to a couple of sensitive justice topics, primary-aged students should use the app with adult supervision. A PowerPoint version written specifically for primary school students can be downloaded from: www.caritas.org.au/advent Caritas Australia is the international aid and development organisation of the Catholic Church in Australia. Caritas Australia is part of one of the largest aid and development agencies in the world working in over 200 countries and territories. Wonderful way to share the word of God, a prayer and a practical application. I living in the USA also helps my children focus on something bigger than themselves. Helping is to realize that our inconveniences are what many people in the world wish to have as problems. Merry Christmas, may you and yours know the true meaning of Christmas this year.
