Recently I purchased the A320 Checkride app to study for my recurrent training. At first I thought that the program is quite expensive, but with few options in the market I decided to buy. To my surprise, there are some mistakes in the software in relation to the real airplane. 1- In the app the evacuation panel is missing. 2- The switches on the lights panel lights are all reversed. I am still using the app, but the credibility has dropped considerably.
Very useful before oral checkride
Would have loved to get the flows on it too! Lets hope for future updates ;)
Réalisme top mais des manques.
Superbe appli pour les passionnés de lAirbus 320 ou un bon moyen de révision quand vous êtes en QT sur lavion ! Bonne interaction, la qualité est top et le cockpit est très bien reproduit. Cependant il manque un lexique, un menu avec des cours sur les systèmes et on ne pas interagir directement avec les boutons, dommage . De plus cest Un peu cher pour ce que cest ! 15€ me paraitrai déjà plus approprié . Jattend une mise à jour mais allez pour bien finir, cest pas mal du tout !
CheckRide 320
Weak. I loose my money. A superficial overview. I cant see no Normal and Emergency procederes and profiles (precision, non precisionI, cat 3, etc) I also tryed to login, they asked me a SERIAL NUMBER that I didnt receive. DONT BUY IT.
Checkride
Excelent tool for review and study. Would be nice if the developer consider to add pictures from library and add notes to a given panel!
A few errors
Really cool app....... However, for $40 I expect that an actual airbus pilot/engineer would have reviewed it for errors. There are a few errors scattered throughout the app that scream "my creator flys a Boeing!" An example is the light panel. Any Bus and Boeing rated pilot knows the switches are opposite to each other (on is up, or on is forward). With these errors, I think it is very over priced (considering it is designed and marketed as a study tool). I would pass on this version. Hopefully they update it soon with the corrections.
Errors
I have found a few errors so far...The most glaring so far being the mis-labeling of the APU Fire Test Push button. For $45 I would certainly expect better. I would hope that the company will take a closer look and remove the errors.
