Description

AFCTrailMap brings the Angeles Front Country Trail Map by Tom Harrison Maps to the iPhone and iPod Touch. AFCTrailMap covers the western half of the San Gabriel Mountains, from Monrovia to the Antelope Valley Freeway. Trails and backcountry roads for hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and 4x4 touring are shown on the shaded-relief topo map with 80-foot contours--also perfect for geocaching and orienteering. The map also shows campgrounds, towns and cities, highways, water features, peaks, and canyons. Navigate the map using standard touch gestures to zoom and drag. Mark your location, measure distances, orient yourself by taking bearings to landmarks, and use your iPhones GPS to find your location on the map. Add your own markers to the map, and export them via email for display in Google Earth or other applications. Map data is included in the application, so you dont need an internet connection to use it.
