Aged Care Education (ACE) is a learning program designed to support family doctors in the management of elderly patients in an aged care facility.
The ACE program uses a best approach model to address the different problems and pathologies that occur in the elderly who reside in an aged care facility.
The program introduces the processes involved, common medical conditions, case studies to reinforce the learning experience and legal and workplace issues that are common to managing the elderly.
