Combining agricultural knowledge with new IoT technologies is opportunity for creating services for move-up the agricultural production. This app combines two useful services that helps agriculture production and efficiency: ekoNET and irrigNET for devices installed in Australia.
ekoNET – simply monitoring weather and air quality parameters. Using sensors, the service gives information about air temperature, air humidity and different parameters which influence air quality. This have an effect on choosing activities that have to be done during the production process.
irrigNET - Simple and confident service that brings higher yields and better profit. IrrigNET service makes the irrigation "recipe" according to crop requirements, soil type, soil humidity and weather conditions. It gives information when and how to irrigate, the exact time of irrigation and the exact amount of water to be used.
