AI Multilingual is an audio phrasebook app for foreign travelers which makes use of the iPhone’s natural language processing function. Synthesized voices utilizing the iPhone’s natural language processing function have sound quality just like recorded human voices, even to the point of expressing differences in pronunciation between American and British English.
AI Multilingual includes the following features.
・Support for Japanese, English, Chinese (simplified and traditional), and Korean.
・Comes preloaded with 500 phrases commonly used at airports, hotels, restaurants, etc.
・New phrases are automatically added via the Internet.
・Can be used even in environments where you don’t have data access, such as while traveling abroad.
・Enables text searching of phrases as well as adding them to bookmarks.
・The app is not large because the sound files are not built-in.
*Plays back phrases that have been translated in advance. App does not have a function for translating text input.
