Airconsole EasyShare lets you quickly gain remote access to RS232 serial equipment by using your iPhone or iPad with our Airconsole device (sold separately). Your field force just expanded to anyone with an iPhone! Please read below for more details.
Use EasyShare as a field support tool to allow remote web users (such as IT support desks) to access the serial console (management) port of network or other equipment that has a RS232 serial interface for management.
Simply Connect Airconsole to your serial equipment and turn it on. Launch the Easy Share app and follow the wizard on screen. After completing the wizard, the serial port will be available via our free cloud terminal service at easyshare.get-console.com. The remote web user now has direct control and can interact with the serial port via our secure web terminal.
Easyshare and the Airconsole adaptor lets you avoid costly fixed serial terminal servers with low cost Airconsole adaptor and the non-IT people you already have at remote offices.
Easyshare is a free app. It does NOT provide a local terminal on the iPhone/iPad to the serial device, rather it lets remote web users access the serial device through the iPhone/iPad acting like a serial device (terminal) server.
