Description
Navigate the character through the painting! The character must always be the opposite color of the background it is traversing. The third, less prevalent color, is considered an obstacle and must be avoided. The game is inspired by 1957-D NO. 1, 1957 by Clyfford Still. Clyfford Still was one of a group of American artists working in the middle of the twentieth century who created paintings in a style called Abstract Expressionism. These artists did not paint things people could recognize. Instead, they tried to represent their emotions, thoughts, and feelings. Clyfford Still found that the best way to show his inner ideas was through a variety of colors and abstract or unrecognizable shapes and forms. His work often has irregular looking shapes that are in contrasting light and dark colors, like black and yellow or red and light blue.
