Alert Diver magazine, the dive industry’s leading publication, features DAN’s core content of research, education, medical information and dive safety. In addition, Alert Diver showcases underwater photography, dive travel and marine environmental topics. Divers Alert Network (DAN) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) dive safety organization. DANs mission is to help divers in need of emergency medical assistance and to promote dive safety through research, education, products and services. Published quarterly, Alert Diver is a benefit to members of DAN; its companion website, AlertDiver.com, is available to all. If you are a current DAN member (DAN America region), everything offered in this app is included in your membership and free to you!

Solo divet

I downloaded the App but there is a problem: To sign in, I am asked to use my Email and my last name, But the system says mine are invalid, which doesnt surprise me since i am never asked to register them, so how could they work? My DAN user name and password are different, and they are never asked for by the APP, and while I tried them as well, no go!! So, howdo we access our "free" use as members???

Alert Diver is incredible! The scope of content, depth of information and richness of imagery really establish an entirely new benchmark for the diving industry. What an incredible resource for anyone interested in diving and the marine environment.

Membr issue problem

The Newsstand version says I should be able to get to my member copy but I cannot find any way to do it. There is no way to sign in to my account in the upper right, or anywhere, that I can find.

Only problem is that the instructions state that I should be able to log in as a DAN member for free editions but there is no way to log in.

Great update, love the news stand access but I am having the same issue as others who are reporting lack of ability to log in to Dan account to get my issues. Looking forward to resolution to this issue.
