AlphaBaby at Mac App Store analyse

Wer ein Kleinkind zu Hause hat, weiß um was es geht: Der Zwerg findet die Tastatur super interessant (wie überhaupt alles, was Mama und Papa machen) und schlägt bei jeder Gelegenheit auf die Tastatur. Mit Alpha Baby ist das jetzt auch problemlos möglich! Für Eltern ein Pflichtkauf! To the developers: German language missing!

We have this on the iPad and our 17-month-old quite likes it, so we wanted to try the computer version. Works well and has some nice options, but way too many crashes. Hopefully it can be fixed soon!

Pretty basic but it does what it says. Lets your baby smash the keyboard as much as they want.

The screen goes white but no key input is accepted and Prefernce panel is not shown after choosing from Menu.

I installed this for my grandchildren but unfortunately it got stuck. I could not use computer all morning until I at last managed to get it off the screen ( I do not really know how) .It drove me mad as nothing was available to stop it, not even Force quit and pulling the electricity only worked for the start up time and then, bang, it came on again! IT IS STILL INSTALLED AS I DO NOT WANT IT TO WAKE UP AGAIN AND GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THE ICON STARTS THE GAME OFF . A pity..

Dopo qualche ricerca su internet ho trovato questa applicazione che fa esattamente quello che volevo: scrive e disegna sullo schermo quando si premono i tasti. Essendo pensata per un pubblico di piccola età è studiata in maniera da evitare che si possa chiudere e fare combinare dei guai sul desktop. Per uscire dallapp, infatti, occorre premere CTRL-ALT-COMMAND-Q simultaneamente o più semplicemente scrivere la parola "quit". Complimenti e grazie alla sviluppatrice che ha realizzato uno strumento che fa stare più tranquilli i grandi, fa divertire i piccoli ed è anche facilmente presonalizzabile (scrivendo "pref" appare il menu preferenze), al prezzo di un caffè.

I was hoping for something that would disable EVERY key (including the SLEEP/SHUT DOWN button which is my sons favorite) and speak the names of letters as it wrote them on the screen. Something simple that would protect my computer and even possibly have an educational value. This is perfect, well worth the 99 cents. One caveat: I do wish it had a "random" option for line shapes - you can choose to have the mouse draw circles or squares or ducks or trucks or several other things, but there is no option to have it switch between shapes. Thats the only thing this game doesnt have that I wish it did! Glad I spent the $$. :)
