Description
Alphabrawl isn’t your typical word game. Strike down your opponent, one letter at a time, by tricking, misleading and eventually forcing him/her to complete the word first.
Unlike other word games, the object of Alphabrawl is to avoid spelling a complete word. Whoever does finish the word in play loses. Each player is given an arsenal of letters (from A-Z), which they take turns placing at the beginning or end of the word in progress. The first player to lay the letter that creates a real word loses.
Alphabrawl not only encourages one-on-one engagement within game play, but has the added benefit of boosting both players’ spelling, step-by-step reasoning and short-term strategy creation abilities. Like many word games, Alphabrawl is challenging and unique enough to intrigue even the most seasoned word-whiz.
