Welcome to ALS Survey for iPhone and iPad!
ALS Survey is designed to find the leading cause of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). A 10 question (free) survey has been created and can be taken by people who have been diagnosed with ALS and those who have not.
As many as 30,000 Americans may currently be affected by ALS. Annually, ALS is responsible for two deaths per 100,000 people. The average life expectancy of a person with ALS is two to five years from time of diagnosis.
Other helpful things in this app include: ALS Files, ALS Links and ALS Sketches.
ALS FILES
contain PDF documents that can be printed, emailed or bookmarked. They are also zoomable for easy reading on the iPhone.
ALS LINKS
contain helpful links to organizations and forums and can be viewed without leaving the app.
ALS Sketches
contain images of both healthy and damaged nerves.
