Mensen eten gemiddeld vijf keer meer suiker dan goed is, tot 45 kg per persoon per jaar.
Dat is bijna een kilo per week aan boodschappen.
Door de toegevoegde suikers, die te vinden zijn tot en met de kipfilet in de schappen, is zelfs ons smaak beïnvloed en worden we afhankelijk gemaakt van suiker. En de keuze voor iets anders ontbreekt, omdat ze haast niet te vinden zijn in de supermarkt.
Alles wijst erop dat de keuze voor suikervrij begint bij keuzevrijheid in de supermarkt. Die durven hier echter niet zomaar geld in te steken.
