My one and a half year old daughter is completely fascinated by animals and name them like their sounds. A dog is the Bowwow and the cow is the Moo. So I started to search for an App because she knows her picture-books inside out.
I searched for an app that is easy to use, simply displays animals and perhaps plays their sound.
I could not find anything that I liked. Either the Apps were way to hard to use or there were Apps with ads and other blink-blink-stuff that you dont want for your kid because of a sensory overload.
So I simply programmed this app for my daughter by my own. And what should I say... she is lovin it.

Just simple and genius. Even the smallest know the swipe gesture intuitively. "Animal Sounds for Kids" displays more than 100 animals and plays the realistic sound of each animal. Simply swipe like photos in full-screen mode. After each animal sound a voice says the animal name. No buttons, no menues, nothing what a child could touch by accident to break the flow.

All photos and animal sounds were compiled and edited by hand specifically for this app. It contains realistic audio recordings of real animals to reach a learning effect. Would you know for example how an armadillo or a Llama sounds? :-D
