Exceeds Sticky Notes at a very reasonable price. Highly customizable. Allowing for faded out transparency (instead of hiding them) when inactive is what made it 5 stars. Only 1 request: allow for adjustable transparency when active. Major thanks to the developers for their non-greedy pricing and well developed app.

Does the trick...
Much more usable and configurable than the included Apple app, particularly that it can start at boot, put itself on the menu-bar, and remove itself from the doc. I use it for those “gotta do it as soon as I get off the phone” situations where I can’t forget to make it happen right away. Nice tool. Wish it had a bit of font customizations, but it’s a small quibble.

Sehr schönes Programm
Antnotes ist sehr hilfreich, um sich ein paar schnelle kleine Notizen zu machen. Ich nutze es, um alle echten Papierzettel von meinem Schreibtisch zu verbannen. Stattdessen „lebt“ Antnotes halbtransparent in einer Ecke meines Monitor-Schreibtisches. Dort stört es nicht. Ich kann aber jederzeit draufklicken, um meine Notizen zu lesen oder um eine neue hinzuzufügen. Schon eine Antnote ersetzt einen ganzen Zettelstapel. Das Programm kann aber noch viel mehr! Wirklich hilfreich – danke!

Powerful but simple
This app has lots of customization options, but it isn’t at all cluttered. You can attach apps to specific applications, so they only show when that program/app is running. Super convenient. This is the perfect digital post-it app.
Clever and useful Super Stickies app
Highly customizable, very useful. Easy export of notes, powerful drag-and-drop sound/photo ability, nice to be able to quickly adjust font, size and colors. App needs search feature or after a while it will be hard to find stuff among multiple hidden and visible notes.
