This App is perfect for expanding your childs vocabulary. The object of this multiple choice game is to find the antonym (opposite word) for the word that is given. - The key things… * Over 300 unique multiple choice questions * 3 Different Game Modes: Lives, Timed and Fixed * excellent preparation for 11+ Verbal Reasoning or Common Entrance exams * all of the questions are written especially for us by experienced tutors - What does this app do… ? Antonyms are words which are opposite in meaning (or almost opposite). In this game, you will be given a word and then you will have to choose an appropriate antonym from a list of four options. There are 3 different modes that you can play: Lives, Timed, and Fixed. You can choose the game mode you wish to play from the settings menu. In Lives mode, you start with 3 lives. You will lose 1 life every time you answer incorrectly and the game will end when you run out of lives! In Timed mode, you will have a set amount of time to answer as many questions as possible, but dont rush too much because youll lose points for each wrong answer! In Fixed mode you will be given a set number of questions, and the game will track your percentage. Can you get a perfect 100%? - Who would benefit… ? This game is excellent preparation for any students preparing for 11+ Verbal Reasoning or Common Entrance exams, but will be of tremendous benefit to any child. Increasing a child’s vocabulary can be difficult, particularly if they are reluctant to read. This game will expose them to words which they would be unlikely to come across in their day-to-day experience. Students with a broad range of vocabulary will achieve higher marks in comprehension and creative writing tasks, both of which are regularly tested throughout their school career. - Who makes the app… ?
