Description
司马翎（1933-1989），本名吴思明，广东汕头人，将门之后，台湾「综艺侠情派」武侠小说代表作家。
自幼受到良好教育，文艺基础深厚。
叶洪生作品《台湾九大门派代表作》把他列在第一位；当代著名武侠名家凤歌认为司马翎在文笔、博学、斗智、气势四项上，已经接近第一。1947年举家移居香港。
大二时试作《关洛风云录》一举成名。
接着休学一年，同时撰写多部小说在港台报刊连载，一时声誉鹊起。
司马翎的作品水平均衡，部部可观，不落俗套，各具创意，殊少雷同；即或偶有失坠，亦瑕不掩瑜。
被称为：「台湾武侠小说四大家」，为武侠文化做出了重要贡献。
