With the concept of “play,” “learn,” and “use,” this app provides basic knowledge on disaster preparedness which can be taken in while playing on the app, as well as disaster preparedness booklets, disaster prevention maps, and other content useful during a disaster. The app now also offers “Kids Mode” and “Senior Mode”, and it can even be used in English, Chinese, Korean, and Simple Japanese, making it an app that is easy to understand and use, and can be tailored to suit users’ individual needs. 【Major Features】 ●View the “Disaster Readiness Guide” and “Disaster Preparedness Tokyo” disaster preparedness booklets You can view “Disaster Readiness Guide” and “Disaster Preparedness Tokyo” and set bookmarks in them on pages that you will want to see again. Also, once you download them, you are able to access them even when not connected to the internet. ●Disaster prevention quiz Quizzes cover a wide range of topics related to disaster preparedness. Quizzes are displayed for each topic, and depending on your percentage of correct answers, you can earn points that can be used at your Bosai City and other places. ●Disaster prevention City This play-based content in which users earn points by using the app and correctly answering disaster preparedness quiz questions is designed to make your Bosai City a place with a high degree of disaster preparedness. ●Checklist Through different scenarios, it introduces food to stockpile, indoor preparations, items to prepare, and other actions to take in advance of an emergency occurring. Items can be recorded and managed by checking them off, and memos and expiry dates can be entered so that you can receive alerts when items that are about to expire. ●Disaster Preparedness map Search for and confirm the locations of various disaster preparedness facilities and other facilities on a map. You can also create your own evacuation route as a “My Route”, which is useful for evacuation in the event of a disaster, and registering it in advance allows you to check it even when you are not connected to the internet. Additionally, app includes area danger level maps that provide danger levels for selected locations, as well as flood damage risk maps that visually depict the estimated inundation areas for selected locations. The offline map function lets you check maps even when not connected to the internet if you download the necessary municipality maps. ●Evacuation Simulation It allows you to check the route to a destination from a specified location such as home or school via Street View or by actually walking. ●Latest disaster information You can check for Evacuation, Weather, Earthquake, Tsunami, and Volcano information in the Tokyo Metropolitan area, as well as, the area registered by yourself. ●Tokyo My Timeline My Timeline is a sheet that people can use to prepare for storm and flood damage and organize appropriate disaster preparedness actions in advance to prevent panicking in the event of an emergency. The required information and evacuation methods differ for the three weather situations, so create separate sheets for all three. ●Raincloud radar Check the movement of rainclouds and typhoon information. ●Safety confirmation You can check the safety confirmation of family and friends through safety confirmation search across various services. ●Group contact Create and register a group with family and friends within the app to send and receive messages among each other, including location information, in the event of a disaster. ●Emergency alarm A buzzer will sound when the screen is tapped, and a push notification will be sent out to members of the family and friends who are registered on the app in advance. ●Help Card in three languages A collection of phrases used when requesting for help during an emergency are posted in multiple languages . ●Disaster preparedness links Includes links useful in the event of storm and flood damage.
