Why the advertisements?
I purchased this app as a study aid for the advanced level HSK exam. For that purpose, it is invaluable, both for looking up unknown idioms and for boosting your vocabulary. However, the developer seems to have justified to himself, somehow, that it is acceptable to keep advertisements in a paid app. That is not okay. On principle alone, I advise downloading one of the other, highly similar Chengyu programs on the App Store.
