新闻地图是中国搜索提供的一款新闻阅读应用。新闻地图以平板作为载体，为用户提供立体的新闻阅读服务。
功能特色有：
1.呈现新闻的地理位置
在地图上呈现新闻，直观地告诉用户新闻发生的地理位置，具象化新闻六要素中的地点元素。
2.提供全球、中国、本地三个尺度的新闻
新闻地图为用户提供全球、中国、本地三个尺度的新闻，用户可以通过点击导航栏上的图标方便查阅不同尺度的新闻。
3.对每条新闻赋予热度属性
用户可以直观地通过地图上该条新闻圆圈的大小来辨别新闻受欢迎的程度——圆圈越大，新闻热度越高；圆圈越小，新闻热度越低。
4.本地尺度下订阅多城市新闻
而在本地尺度下，用户可以在设置-城市选择中设置自己关注城市的新闻，最多能够为用户设置六个城市。
