东北特色二人转主要来源于东北大秧歌和河北的莲花落。用东北人的俏皮话说：二人转是“秧歌打底，莲花落镶边”。莲花落亦称“落子”，是北方地区汉族民间的一种说唱艺术，边说边唱，载歌载舞。二人转：史称小秧歌、双玩艺、蹦蹦，又称过口、双条边曲、风柳、春歌、半班戏、东北地方戏等。表现形式为：一男一女，服饰鲜艳，手拿扇子、手绢，边走边唱边舞，表现一段故事，唱腔高亢粗犷，唱词诙谐风趣。
