佛陀紀念館位於台灣高雄市大樹區,集「千家寺院、百萬人士」的功德主共同成就,建館工程自二○○三年開始,歷時九年,至二○一一年竣工,開創「前有八塔,後有大佛;南有靈山,北有祇園」的宏偉格局。
佛陀紀念館坐西朝東,占地總面積百餘公頃,是一座融合古今與中外、傳統與現代的建築,具有文化與教育、慧解與修持的功能。
