• Open Large Image

Open your large app icon image file in App Icon Tool. For best results, it should be 1024x1024 or larger.

I downloaded this tool because I was extremely frustrated with the extensive and very confusing way of adjusting app icon sizes. Before, I used Pixelmator, but that took a good hour and I constantly messed up. This amazing app resolves all of those issues, and even submits the edited image sizes into Xcode! This costs $2.99 but WELL WORTH the money. This takes 1 MINUTE instead of 1 hour. Very helpful… dont hesitate to download.

I have tried a dozen different apps and websites to generate my app icons. Ive finally settled on App Icon Tool as my preferred app. Since I dont have the need for new app icons every week, I needed an app that is very easy to use so I dont waste time having to learn something from scratch each time I launch it. With this app I just select the source image, check a couple of obvious boxes, and then save directly into Xcode. Done. Also, this is the only app that Ive found so far that generates icons for the iPad Pro.
