Does not work

This application is way better than Today. One of the best app from Singapore This will definitely save me much time when looking up movie time. I like the way it is presented neat and straight to the point, just like the GV website, less the mess. Its a plus to be able to view trailer via the app. Prior to the previous review, loading time is fast for me, however your milage may vary. The app also includes a well-designed home. Its very simple and straight to the point. The Cinemas page is also well-designed, including a map of the location. Overall, the app is responsive to touch. Well thats where the plus side of the app ends. I am very particular about design and user interface. Past the home screen, I am greeted with horror. Now Showing & Coming Soon page || Lets start with the content window in the Now Showing and Coming Soon. I like the way the movie poster is placed. However, as I attempt to scroll down, I couldnt. Instead of scrolling the movie list down, I am scrolling the description. For a moment, I am figuring out how to scroll down. As I scroll down, the page is laggy, probably due to the movie poster. There are also many duplicate movies listing. For example : Australia, Australia Gold Class. You may want to consider not including the whole description in. Maybe simply the director and actors. And please do not make it scrollable. Optimize the image so that it will not cause lag while scrolling. Cinemas page || Well I basically have no problem with this page, except the exclusion of telephone numbers for the different areas. You may want to consider to add in the numbers for the different cinemas. My Profile page || To sum it up, I dont see the point of this page at all. Every option I click tells me the same message, Please go to settings to change my preference. Please remove this page if there is nothing better to put cause it will only confuse the user. It will also make the bottom bar neater. Refreshing movie list page || I think theres a bug in this page where it causes lines to be shown. Show Times page || The way the information is organized is neat but the way it is displayed is not. Every line, you simply put the timing and waste the rest of the line away. At first look, I still thought it was a bug. I understand you may want to avoid confusion, but this is not really the best way. The timing is also clickable. I dont see the point of this since it doesnt allow me to book tickets online. You may want to consider not making the timings clickable. You can also present the timings in a much better way such that it will waste space and looks nicer. Bottom Bar || The bottom bar has 5 icons which just nice. However, you may want to consider reducing the length of the text such as Now Showing. Its too long and the highlight can only cover a partial of the text. You may want to consider reducing the length of the text. Overall || The speed of refreshing the timings and movies is slow. There is no option to book tickets online. You may want to consider making the refreshing speed faster. You may want to add an option to book tickets via the app and please provide the number for phone booking. This is a good application, I will definitely recommend my friends this app once improvements is made. This application has a potential to be one of the best app for Singaporeans, made by Singaporeans.

Thanks GV for the the great app really wonderful to know showtimes and movie info at the fingertips. Improvements can always be made to make the app simpler, especially the home screen. Movie trailers on the fly was a wonderful idea.

Itd be great if it had the ability to do the above. Otherwise, its a great app; responsive & very convenient! Thanks GV!

The updated version crashes easily but the old version had good info in it.

iGV is awsome but if your making an update then could you put the site of the movie and also the rating.

I used this on my iPhone 3G running 2.2, and it was good. Too bad its not been updated to work with 3.0. It failed on my iPod touch which I had upgraded to 3.0!
