Nice, clean but this first version crashes if you select the metric units (km instead of miles). Unfortunately the support is offered only through Twetter and is only in Japanese so I could not tell the author that his application has a bug! I hope that he/she will read this review and shall publish a patched version soon!
Theres not any instructions on how to add icons to the map, etc... I cant figure it out
Need satellite view
Nice to have the map view if you are interested in an urban environment but I need to see the satellite view for the wilderness area so I can create maps before I set out.
Can be more useful
This app is just what I am searching for, as Id need to book mark multiple store locations and categorize them , but it still lacks some of the basic functions. What needs to be done: 1. When searching for bookmarked locations it needs to show subtitle or more info, otherwise its hard to find a specific bookmarked location if you have multiple bookmarked locations with the same name 2. Need to be able to pin multiple or selected locations within a contact 3. When dropping a pin on the map the address info should appear accordingly 4. when changing the address info of a pinned location the pin should relocate to the correct address 5. Be able to add custom fields in info 6. Be able to add bookmarked locations to contacts Will give 4-5 stars if all these functions are added, until then only deserves 2.
What I have been looking for
This is exactly what I have been looking for. This app would be greatly improved if it would let you add sub-filters to further categorize your locations. Some categorizes can be open to the user to write in what they want but other filters should be date and a set user define list of items to pick from.
Very good but not perfect.
For what I want to do, this app is perfect. Dropping pins is easy and adding information is easy. Im very happy with this app. What would make me "prom giddy" is: - When you click on the small arrow arrow up top to show your current location, zoom in like the iPhone and iPad app does. - When you do put an address in and hit "search", make the gray circle compass STAND OUT. Right now it blends in and thats a tad bit annoying. - If you add a picture, it shrinks it a little and makes it a little distorted. - Sync between iPad and iPhone for the same account. This should be a no-brainer but I cant see it if it is possible. If it is someone please tell me.
