Download this app to get a guided city entrance to Rotterdam and an entrance to the Randstad conurbation. An area, where Rotterdam and Europe meet. Receive updates about the latest news and events in Rotterdam Central District (RCD). Find the hottest hotspots and detailed information about a rich variety of multinationals and local businesses in this central location in the inner city of Rotterdam.
Based on your personal settings you can allow RCD app to send you geotargeted push messages. A variety of venues in the district are using iBeacons™ to send real specific location relevant information when you actually are in the neighbourhood and/or enter one of these specific locations. This makes Rotterdam Central district on of the largest pilots worldwide with iBeacon™ technology.
By creating an account you will receive a membership card that allows you to identify at hotspots so you can receive rewards. Hotspots may issue coupons to you through push messages, which will show up in your Wallet app.
RCD is a public-private partnership of the municipality, developers, owners and tenants in Rotterdam Central District.
