APPsolutely CANada (APP CAN) was developed as a student project with the Grade 5/6 GATE Students Louis Riel Elementary Junior High School in Calgary, Alberta With support from the Glenbow Museum. The students approached App Guys Inc. (AGi) to get assistance in building an app to provide people with information about Canada. AGi was excited to work with the students to help create their app. Over a short time, the students gathered information about Canada and AGi helped guide them through the creation of a mobile application. Version 0.8 was launched in late June with all the student work. Version 1.0 will be pushed out later in Summer 2016 after some of the senior AGi developers modify some design aspects of the app to help showcase some new ideas. All information displayed in APP CAN about Canada was provided by students and their teachers.
