When patients lack access to relevant, understandable medical information it jeopardizes their health and results in unnecessary health care spending.
But notwithstanding general acknowledgement from the medical community that evidence-based research must be accompanied by system improvements which support the implementation of best practices, patients continue to be disenfranchised from the medical system, and lack access to the information they need to manage their medical care in an optimally effective way. Thus, 80% of patients forget what their doctor tells them as soon as they leave the office; and, nearly 50% of what patients do remember is recalled incorrectly.
AQH seeks to solve this problem by providing patients tailored medical instructions as they become relevant, via any mobile health platform.
