Archers Score at Mac App Store analyse

I give this app a 9/10! It would be a 10/10 if it had a scorecard average function. Looking forward to that update!

Ok app, urgently needs to upgrade to Retina display quality, iPhone 4 has been out for more than a year!

I purchased the product hope it was more than what it is. With that said here are things that could improve it! I shot 3D indoor and out door. Would like to keep track of shooter in our group. No shooter name. Also indoor 3D we shoot 15 targets twice would be nice to have second arrow for these targets and not have to use 1-30. This applies is ASA - IBO so far we have shot 2 arrows one for each target that works fine. Would like to select number of targets for 3D would also help. Bottom line is think twice about paying for this app. If they make improvements it could be a great app. Just not worth it at version 1.0

I Just downloaded it on to my Phone. Trying to Set it seemed dificult and I Contacted Archers Score Support. and told them of my Concerens. The Author of the App Contacted me by Email And explained how to use the features a bit moe in depth. . The Problem is that not all shoot events Are CONFIGURED like the Apps Pre Configured SCORE CARDS. In California Most outdoor 3-D events are 28 or 42 targets. and you can shoot anywhere from 1- 3 arrows. The 3-D score cards only have 40 targets and 1 ARROW FOR BOTH ASA AND IBO. THE USER SHOULD BE ABLE TO CUSTOMIZE ANY OF THE SCORE CARDS. I get the feeling the Apps Author is going to fix this. So You need to use the Custom Score CARD feature.. For instance the MAX Points is for Max Points per Arrow, not Max points for the score card. When I set it up for the Pre- Configured Animal target scoring. It only sets up the score card for 10 targets. it should be 14 targets or (ends) which is a full round. It has the correct number of arrows. But it is set up for a Dot (X) to score +1 so it scores 21x on the 1st Arrow and +1 on arrows 2 a dot is 17x &3 a dot is 13x. . But not all tournaments let you add + 1 For an x.. they just count the xs to break tie scores. I think this is going to be fixed. The Score CARDS THAT are Correct as configured are the FIELD 28 Set & VEGAS 300. AND I guess you use Lancaster could be used for for "300" but it adds + 1 for an X. INDOOR StateChampionship IN CALIFORNIA IS 15 ENDS of 3 ARROWS So you have to set up a Custom Score Card Arrows= 3 MAX SCORE= 10 WITH X adds =0 set it up with15 ends and MIN POINTS = 0 if use the single target and Max Points= 6 if you use the 3 Spot Vegas style Target You can set up a 900 score card. Custom Card # of Arrows = 6 Max Score = 10 x adds =0 Min Points = 0 Ends= 15. since you shoot 6 arrows and 5 ends for each of the 3 distrances (60, 50, 40 Yards). Or you can set it up with 5 ends if you want to score each distance seperately. So all in All its a pretty good App for scoriing. Archery. Also if you have fat fingers the target (end buttons on the screen are not easy to touch. to make the scoring wheel pop up visable.

It is what it is, its great for indoor, only complaint is you have to setup a "custom" score card for NFAA five spot as its not preprogrammed I bought based on the reviews of the archers mark app, Im hoping that the company makes improvements to this app and it eventually is as highly regarded as their first app Also, for what it does Id think it would cost $5 its alittle pricy for a spreadsheet EDIT: Glad to see the NFAA five spot is preprogrammed now its a five star app. Next update: addition of printing the score to a wireless printer instead of emailing

There is only one thing that i would like more out of the amazing app. During a Full FITA you shoot 144 arrow.s This is a time where most scores go over 1000. The running score bar goes to "..." at 1000. I would like a self adjusting score so i could see my running score the whole time. Thanks

Would not pay for this again. For 1.99, maybe 2.99 I would give it 4 stars. This app is just not customizable enough. It would really benefit being able to be able to score for more than just one person. To much money for limited use.
