Man against machine to the death!
AR.Hunter is an Augmented Reality, two-player shooting game designed for Parrot’s AR.Drone. The game pitches a human player against the AR.Drone’s pilot.
Duel Mode
A two-player game requiring only one AR.Drone! At the beginning of the game, each player, armed with their iPhone®/iPod touch®/iPad™, must choose a side: human or AR.Drone pilot.
The player piloting the AR.Drone must bring into play all their aviator skills, holding the human player within their sights for long enough to shoot until their life bar runs out.
Meanwhile, the human player, equipped with his detection cap* and iPhone armed with an Augmented Reality weapon, must try to get out of the AR.Drone’s range… Whilst also attempting to shoot it down before they are killed!
Who will be the fastest and the most tactical in action? Human or pilot? It all depends on you!
*Special cap is required (available from www.parrotshopping.com) to enable the moving player to be detected in Augmented Reality.
AR.Drone Hunting Mode
This mode has been specifically designed for those players who do not have the headset.
In this mode, the AR.Drone pilot has no weapons at their disposal with which to respond to the attacks from the ground-based player. The only option is to try to escape!
If the pilot of the AR.Drone proves capable of avoiding the attacks of their opponent for long enough, then they win the game!
