Description

As an Army Noncommissioned Officer, you are responsible for developing and maintaining proficiencies across a variety of knowledge and skill domains. This requires you to engage in learning within Army schoolhouses as well as many other professional contexts. Sometimes you are learning from an instructor in a formalized setting. Other times, youre learning on your own, a process referred to as self-directed learning. This application is designed to assist you in a critical aspect of your self-directed learning process: establishing clear goals and planning how you will pursue them. It applies two techniques that have proven useful for goal planning and pursuit in a variety of professional learning contexts: mental contrasting and implementation intentions. Note: This application is for evaluation only. It is not endorsed by the US Army.
