This app is intended to assist all those eager to grasp and hold tight to that light. Although you are experiencing it as an app, this project began as a childrens book. The book with the accompanying illustrations and flashcards are designed to teach the basic principles of the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints*; help the learner commit them to memory, and keep them fresh in the mind for years to come. The Book – Where the illustration/hint and the text of the article can be viewed at the same time - to catch the eye, spark interest and familiarize new learners. The Full Flashcards – Illustration/hints are found on the "front" of the card and text is on the "back" - for those ready to start memorizing. Illustrated Hint Flashcards – for the practiced student, who just need a hint now and then. Hint Only - Challenge Flashcards – for those ready to challenge their memory. Flash Quizzes - Test your knowledge! Music - Listen to the songs while studying to further impress upon the mind the words and phrases. Make this fun! With children you might use the book in place of an occasional bedtime story. Read it together in Sunday School class. The Articles of Faith are set to lively tunes in the LDS Children’s Songbook (See Music Icon). Sing them over breakfast as you flip through the pages. Recite them in funny voices during play time while using the flashcards as visual cues.
