Take pictures of your friends and family with artistic Kansas Citians all over town and share your photos on social media. After visiting 8 or more locations, click the “Notify Us” option and get a gift. How it works: ArtSnap uses “augmented reality” technology to place an image of a KC artist in your picture based on your location. The app has a “Near Me” map to show you all the places around town where you can find the artists. Some will appear based on your GPS coordinates while others have a poster on display. Follow the simple instructions in the app and snap photos of your friends with Bobby Watson at UMKC or Christopher Elbow outside his shop to name just a few. ArtSnap uses your location for most outdoor sites. 2)You may need to look around a little in outdoor locations to find the artist. 3)Take photos in landscape mode to make room for your friends and the artist. 4)If you don’t like the shot, you can take it again as many times as you want. 5)All photos are stored in your gallery. 6)Share your photos on social media.
