Aryv (pronounced ‘arrive’) is a new app that rewards drivers across America for driving without using their smartphone. In addition to rewards, enjoy added features such as family sharing, driving statistics, and real-time location services. Whether it’s your daily commute, a trip to the grocery store, or a road trip across the country, you can pledge to always drive to Aryv. How It Works: To Aryv, simply open the app before you begin your trip and select ‘Dryv’ and lock your phone. If for any reason you unlock your phone or engage with a notification from another app while you’re driving, the trip will automatically end and no points will be earned. An Aryv notification will appear on your lock screen after you start a trip reminding you not to unlock your phone while traveling. When you reach 0 miles per hour, you can unlock your phone and end your trip, which banks your points. Rewards For every mile traveled while keeping phone locked, you will be rewarded with points that can be used at your favorite chains, such as Chick-Fil-A, Firehouse Subs and Sports Clips. (Only valid at select locations) Family Sharing You can’t always be in the passenger seat with your loved ones, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t always be in the loop. With Aryv, you can pledge as a family/group to drive safely. See other group members’ trips, compare statistics and compete for the top ranking in your group! Driving Statistics Every trip you take will be logged and stored in your Recents page, giving you access to the date, time, average speed and top speed, as well as the total number of miles traveled. Aryv also tracks the number of consecutive trips you successfully complete without using your smartphone, known as your ‘Aryv Streak.’ The higher the streak, the more points earned per mile! Location Services Aryv tracks your location in real time, and records your speeds at different intervals during your trip. This app may use your location even when it isn’t open, which can decrease device battery life. Once completed, you can view your trip in the Recent tab and see exactly where you traveled from point A to point B. Along this path, higher speeds are indicated by different colors.
